Blinds, Shades & Shutters for Issaquah Homes

Founded by design consultant Armi Avila, Amazing Blinds by Armi provides custom blinds, shades, shutters, and motorized window coverings for homeowners throughout Issaquah, WA.

Recommendations are based on each home's architecture, natural light, privacy needs, interior finishes, and functional goals, helping homeowners select window coverings that balance style, comfort, everyday use, and long-term value.

About Issaquah

Set among the foothills east of Lake Sammamish, Issaquah includes established neighborhoods, wooded properties, contemporary homes, and newer planned communities.

Many Issaquah homes are designed to take advantage of surrounding forests, mountains, and natural scenery, making it important to preserve views while managing natural light, privacy, and sun exposure. Wooded lots, varied elevations, and expansive windows can also create concerns with glare, solar heat, and UV exposure. Selecting the right window coverings can help address these concerns while preserving natural light, outdoor views, and the home's character.

Blinds, Shades, Shutters, and Motorized Window Coverings

Amazing Blinds by Armi offers a wide array of custom blinds, shades, shutters, and motorized window coverings designed to suit a wide range of homes and interior styles. Available products include roller shades, solar shades, Roman shades, honeycomb shades, sheer shades, woven wood shades, wood blinds, faux wood blinds, shutters, and Hunter Douglas PowerView® Automation.

Our recommendations consider light control, privacy, insulation, ease of operation, durability, maintenance, appearance, architectural style, and the homeowner's priorities. We provide design guidance so clients can make informed decisions that align with their lifestyle and goals.

Motorized Silhouette Shades for Issaquah Mountain Views

The homeowners wanted better sun control in their Issaquah living and dining rooms without blocking the mountain views that made the large windows a focal point. We installed motorized Hunter Douglas Silhouette® sheer shades throughout both spaces. The adjustable fabric vanes soften direct sunlight and can be tilted for greater light control, while the sheer panels help maintain the view. Motorized operation makes the large shades easy to adjust together throughout the day. The light neutral fabric complements the warm woodwork in the living room and the lighter finishes in the dining room, creating a coordinated look across both interiors.

Motorized Duette Architella Shades Throughout an Issaquah Home

This new Issaquah home had different light-control and privacy needs throughout the whole house. One shade configuration would not have worked equally well everywhere. We installed motorized Hunter Douglas Duette® Architella® honeycomb shades in configurations selected for each area. The media room had blackout shades with LightLock® side channels. Other windows combined light-filtering and room-darkening fabrics, while motorized Top-Down/Bottom-Up shades provided adjustable privacy and natural light in the bathrooms. Motorization made the upper windows accessible and allowed multiple shades to operate easily. Using one coordinated product family created a consistent appearance while meeting different functional needs throughout the home.
