About Woodinville

Woodinville is known for its blend of rural charm, established neighborhoods, custom homes, and newer residential communities surrounded by trees, vineyards, and sprawling landscapes. The area's diverse architecture and spacious properties create a variety of window covering needs, from maximizing natural light to enhancing views. Many Woodinville homes feature expansive windows that bring abundant daylight indoors.

Depending on the home's orientation and surrounding landscape, homeowners may experience glare, solar heat, privacy concerns, and UV exposure throughout the day. Selecting the right window coverings can help manage these conditions while preserving natural light, outdoor views, and the home's architectural character.

PowerView® Automation along the stairway makes the hard-to-reach windows easy to operate. Cordless roller shades on the kitchen French doors add a pop of color and are a practical solution for homes with pets. The selected fabrics complement the renovated interior, creating a consistent look while preserving the home’s bright, open feeling.

Honeycomb & Roller Shades for a NW Contemporary Woodinville Home

After moving into a remodeled Northwest contemporary home in Woodinville, the homeowners needed window coverings for windows and sliding doors throughout the house. Different exposures and room uses created different privacy and light-control needs. We selected a mix of honeycomb and roller shades. Light-filtering fabrics keep rooms bright, while more opaque fabrics provide added privacy and light control in the bedrooms. Each product and opacity was selected based on how the room is used. Coordinated colors and clean profiles complement the home’s contemporary architecture. The result is a consistent whole-home design, with each window covering suited to the practical needs of its space.
